The Photographic Federation of Long Island is a voluntary non-profit organization of camera clubs from Nassau and Suffolk counties and the 5 boroughs of NYC and is dedicated to the enjoyment and advancement of photography.

The Federation exchanges information between clubs at monthly delegate meetings.

The Federation holds monthly inter-club competitions from October through May plus an annual competition in June, the Leonard Victor Competition, to select the best photographs of the year.

The Federation also holds a number of special events including instructional seminars by leading experts in the fields of photography, digital photography and Photoshop as well as live photographic shoots. Please see the SCHEDULE page for a complete list.
