My name is Gail M Dobbins, I have been with the club since February 2017. I found out about the club at Rochdale Day 2016. SEQCC had a booth setup. And I was doing freelance work for the community.  I walked over they gave a good conversation, and it’s all you wrote after that day!!! The equipment I started with was a FUJIFILM camera. And  numerous point and shoot digitalis.  But the work I put out everyone appreciated because I captured moments that still today they use in print.  The TRUE GROWTH  I experience with the SEQCC  is knowing the EYE CAN CAPTURE.  But with the amount of work I was doing.  I needed a camera to help me capture photos.  With that being said my 1st year I brought a NIKON D7500. LOVE IT!!!  And the past year NIKON Z6!!  And I I AM LOVING IT!  I do a lot of freelance work within the COMMUNITY and FOUNDATIONS. For the five boroughs.  Also my family and I are involved in PROGRAMS/FOUNDATION/EVENTS for the 5 boroughs for over 10yrs.  A TRUE PASSION!!

I’m now on the EXECUTIVE BOARD in SEQCC as the CLUB TREASURER and also the HOSPITALITY.

I can truly say, everyone I met and everything I have learned and STILL LEARNING.
